    Residents are given help to obtain, and, based on their particular situation, practice these transitional skills.

    Work towards GED or enroll in Community College/Technical School/High School

    Transportation is provided by Clear Vision to and from classes.

    Residents will develop social skills

    This entails teaching residents appropriate behavior in various social settings.

    Residents are taught basic household management

    Such as menu planning, grocery shopping, meal preparation, cleanliness, maintaining safe environment inside and outside of the household.

    Residents are taught healthy and positive leisure activities

    Such as board games, exercise equipment, arts and crafts, walks to the park, basketball, volunteering for a variety of local organizations.

    Residents are taught the importance of Transitional Skills

    Residents are given help to obtain, and, based on their particular situation, practice these transitional skills.

    Neuropsychological evaluation on competency levels

    Measurable Pre and Post testing continues every three months to determine progress.

    Individual and group counseling

    Individual and Group counseling are continued throughout resident’s stay.

    Family Visitation/Family Counseling

    Is goal oriented so that optimum participation is achieved.

    AA/NA meetings

    Residents are encouraged to participate in meetings and find a sponsor.

    Community Based Resources

    Locating supportive drug and alcohol resources.

    Residents will be taught healthy coping skills

    Journaling, mindfulness, and creative activities.
